It’s hard to take in the suffering and the sacrifice… beaten, bruised, broken, and bleeding… He loved… He gave. For the entire world, for you, for me.

 
Lord, you died so that we might live, find hope, and know Resurrection. That we might know Salvific power in every way, in all our pain, sin and brokenness. You, our Redeemer, Saviour, Lord, and Friend.

We pause now, amid all our preoccupation, in our frenetic busyness. Hush our souls. Turn toward the Cross. We do this in remembrance, Your body, broken. Your blood, shed.

Hallelujah, what a Saviour.
