Needing help
When we are in desperate need of love and reassurance, the Holy Spirit, brings to our minds the truth of who we are in Christ.
Who am I?
We are deeply loved and chosen, accepted, forgiven, redeemed and predestined. We are precious in His sight, we are beloved, He delights over us with singing. He who sees the sparrow fall knows what deeply breaks our hearts.
The Good Shepherd comes and tenderly lifts us into His arms, croons love songs into our ears. He carries us close to His heart. Says to us, Come to me all you who weary and I will give you rest.
Our Heavenly Father collects our tears in a bottle. Jesus, the Man of Sorrows is acquainted with our griefs; the God of all comfort. He himself, is our peace. His promise is; he will never leave or forsake us. The Good Shepherd restores our souls. He is a good, good Father. Our cries, and the longings of our hearts, He hears. Forever, He goes before us, and is our Rearguard; He is the Alpha and Omega.
We can trust Him. We can bring our prayers and supplication to Him with thanksgiving, knowing as we do we have His promise of peace that guards our hearts and minds.
Let this be our declaration.
Amen and Amen.
